On December 22, 2017, the signing and awarding ceremony of the Modern Apprenticeship “Hailiang Class” Program between Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hailiang Company” or “the Company”) and Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College (hereinafter referred to as “the College”) was held at Hailiang Company. Zhu Zhangquan, President and General Manager of Hailiang Company, Dong Zhiqiang, Vice- General Manager of Hailiang Company, Jiang Lirong, General Manager of Hailiang Company Cooper Pipe Business Division, Jin Gang, Director of Hailiang Company Human Resources, Wu Laicheng, Party Committee Secretary of the College, Liu Hua, Party Committee Vice Secretary and Vice-President of the College, Chen Shaohua, Vice-President of the College, Qian Quansen, Dean of Mechanics Institute, and Zhou Xuejun, Dean of Information Engineering College, attended the signing ceremony. 

This Program is another movement between Hailiang Company and Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College after signing the strategic cooperation. Focusing on “college-enterprise cooperation and dual education” and referring to the modern dual-system vocational education mode of Germany, both parties jointly develop “Hailiang Electromechanical Class” and “Hailiang Mechanical Engineering Class” at Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College, adopting the training method combining theoretical teaching and practical education, to cultivate the high-skilled blue-collar worker for Hailiang Company. 

First, leaders of Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College visited base factory of Hailiang Company in Zhejiang accompanied by principals of Hailiang Company. The College leaders highly appreciated the base, encouraged students who were working a intern at the Company, and expressed their hope that students could improve and grow at Hailiang Company continually. 

Amid warm applause, Jin Gang, Director of Hailiang Company Human Resources signed the Modern Apprenticeship “Hailiang Class” Training Agreement with Liu Hua, Party Committee Vice Secretary and Vice-President of the College; Zhu Zhangquan, President and General Manager of Hailiang Company and Wu Laicheng, Party Committee Secretary of Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College unveiled the nameplate of “Modern Hailiang College”. 

The cooperation with Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College lays a solid talent foundation for Hailiang Company to carry out the construction of blue-collar post ecosystem, also acts as the key measure of Hailiang Company to implement the talent cultivation road.
