On July 1st, Zhou Jiangyong, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC and secretary of the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee visited Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for research and guidance, accompanied by Chen Guoqiang, deputy secretary-general of the CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee. They were warmly welcomed by General Manager Zhao of Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Secretary Zhou Jiangyong inspected the production plant of Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and listened carefully to Mr. Zhao’s introduction to the current production and operation of Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in the subsequent exchange meeting. Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd., which was established in 2008 and put into operation in 2010. It covers an area of 180,000 square meters and employs more than 700 personnel. The company’s leading products are copper and copper alloy pipes, mainly used in air conditioning refrigeration, seawater desalination, construction waterways and other fields. The products are mainly exported to the United States, Europe, Australia, Asia and other regions. It has established long-term strategic partnership with well-known brands such as Carrier, Midea, Daikin and Hitachi. Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. closely follows the development goal of Hailiang Co., and takes the road of intelligent production. Since 2015, it has upgraded its equipment and the results are inspiring: from an annual production of 26,000 tons in 2015 to 56,000 tons in 2018 and it is planned to reach an annual production of 73,000 tons in 2019; besides, the sales revenue was increased from 1.2 billion CNY in 2015 to 2.8 billion CNY in 2018, achieving a leap-forward development in just a few years.

Secretary Zhou Jiangyong praised highly of Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for its achievements in these years, and expressed appreciation for its relationship with the local government, its care and support to employees and its positive social impact. At the same time, he hoped that Hailiang Vietnam will continue to grow bigger and stronger, and take the lead along with the Belt and Road Initiative, setting a good example for Zhejiang enterprises.
Hailiang Vietnam Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest Zhejiang enterprises to settle in Longjiang Industrial Park. Since it was officially put into production in 2010, the company has been developing in Vietnam for nine years. In these nine years, it has been growing bigger and stronger, which had also promoted the local economic construction.
