The unprecedented grand occasion of experts gathering
On September 3, the 2020 China Copper Processing Industry Annual Conference and China (Tongling) Copper Industry High-quality Development Conference with the theme of "Great Changes• New Opportunities" was held in Tongling, Anhui Province. On the unprecedented grand occasion, more than 1,100 representatives including above 450 people at the level of deputy general manager from more than 500 related enterprises in China's copper processing industry gathered in Tongling,. Cao Jianguo, the Chairman of the Board of Hailiang Group, and Zhu Zhangquan, the Chairman and General Manager of Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
The conference was co-sponsored by China Nonferrous Metal Processing Industry Association, Tongling Municipal People's Government and Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings Co., Ltd. it was undertaken by Tongling Economic and Information Bureau, Tongling Copper Association and Tongling Jingda Special Magnet Wire Co., Ltd. and it is Co-organized by 34 companies including Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd., Chujiang New Materials and China Huazhong Copper.

During the conference, Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for China's Copper Tube Industry and the title of The Third China Top Ten Copper Bar (Row) Companies. Zhu Zhangquan, the Chairman and General Manager of Hailiang Co., Ltd., was awarded the title of Excellent Entrepreneur in China's Copper Tube Industry.

The output of copper processing materials in 2019 was 18.16 million tons with a year-on-year increase of 1.96%, accounting for about 65% of global output. It imported 503,300 tons and exported 524,600 tons. And it realized net exports for the first time, which was 21,300 tons. It indicated the quality of the outer cycle of copper processing had been further improved and the concentration of the copper processing industry has further increased. The output of copper processing materials of the top 10 companies in 2019 was about 6.1 million tons with an increase of 6 percentage points from 2017, accounting for 34% of the entire industry. The role of leading companies has become more obvious. And their international competitiveness has been further enhanced.
Hailiang Copper Tubes won the title of Manufacturing Individual Champion Product in 2018. Hailiang achieved a sales volume of 550,000 tons of copper tubes in 2019, which market share keeps ahead globally. Hailiang Co., Ltd. will take this conference as an important opportunity to focus on high-quality development requirements and continuously improve the Company's core competitiveness in the copper processing industry.
