Our recycled copper are here. Here are copper pipes which are replaced by copper water pipes in foreign buildings, and here are copper wires stripped from wires and cables in foreign construction industries. The copper content of these coppers exceed 99.5%.

In the raw material warehouse of Hailiang nonferrous Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, there are different kinds of recycled copper, whose total weights are 5000 tons and whose value are about 300 million yuan.

 The output of the entire copper rod of Zhejiang Foundation is about 8,000 tons. In terms of downstream orders, in fact, we have been in a state of short supply since the third quarter of last year.

Since 2021, the import of solid wastes has been banned in China, but the high-grade metal scraps that meet the new standards are allowed to be reclassified as recycled resources. Therefore, waste copper is called recycled copper in the industry now. The change of policy makes the import of recycled copper no longer need approval. High-quality recycled copper can be imported in large quantities. Now, about 70% of the recycled copper supply in the current market comes from imports, and 30% comes from the domestic market.

From January to February, the purchasing quantity (recycled copper) has been over 20,000 tons, which doubles that of previous years.

Automatic production line project for horizontal continuous casting of over 100 copper alloy bars in Hailiang nonferrous Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park is designed by the technical team from process optimization, customization of the entire line of equipment to intelligent matching connection of front and rear equipment, which realized the automatic storage of waste and miscellaneous raw materials (iron removal and oil-water removal by crushing and drying standardization treatment), and they are put into automatic material storage based on their different kinds. According to the requirements of production process formula, all kinds of raw materials were accurately weighed online and automatically transported to melting furnace to realize intelligent continuous production from raw materials entering warehouse to products without landing. Compared with the traditional process, the intelligent production technology reduces the unit consumption of melting and casting from 330℃/ton to 260℃/ton, and the power saving rate is more than 20%. Meanwhile, the metal loss rate is reduced from 4.1% to 2.2%, and the recycled material is reduced by 3.5% year-on-year. The full-load capacity of the production line is 220 tons per day, which is 10 times as much as that of the traditional 1-ton furnace.

Compared with the original process, staffing of the production line can be reduced by about 80%. Intelligent production technology is at the leading level in the world, which promotes and improves the intelligent manufacturing level of China's copper bar processing industry.
